Segway Adventure II

Dakota's and my first segway adventure was a tour of La Jolla with James of "We Love Tourists".  Being that it was spring break, we called James to see if he could do a modified segway tour so PapaBear could join us.  James was awesome in accommodating us with a tour of downtown San Diego.

Hungry after our tour, we decided to go to Kansas City Barbeque.  Dakota had never been there before, and ended up loving the buffalo wings!  So much so that we ordered two orders to go.

Spring Break Brunch

Taking advantage of Dakota not having school due to spring break, we decided to treat ourselves to brunch at The Mission followed by some sweet cupcakes from BabyCakes.

Lady Gaga Concert

Finally, the day arrived for the Lady Gaga concert!!!  I had purchased tickets for my daughters and myself, but with Ana in Hong Kong, we invited Alia's friend, Kaylen, to join us.  Jessica brought paints and we all decorated our faces for the occasion.  Cute, huh?

Truly, this had to be the best concert ever!!!  Lady Gaga is such an amazing entertainer.  I had such a wonderful time with my girls and Kaylen.  Can't wait until the her next tour!

Potting the Seedlings

The seeds we planted in the germinating trays were large enough to transfer over into peat pots now.  PapaBear spent the morning potting the vegetable tray which had pumpkin, corn, yellow squash and zuchinni seedlings.

We transferred the strawberries over to a whiskey half barrel that is on coasters.  They are already flowering and we should have strawberries soon!

Cal Cup Games at Newport Beach

Another couple of Cal Cup games were played this time in Newport Beach.  Dakota was strong on both offense and defense although he and the team were challenged by the team from Orange County.  Great learning experience!
